As a 10+ year digital marketing agency veteran, I couldn't agree with this more. Selling time leads to a commodification of your skills and becomes a race to the bottom against your competitors in terms of price. Selling results puts you in a completely different quadrant in the client's brain. You are no longer a cost-centre- you're now a value creator.
