Thanks for this, Tim. Quite timely as I've just taken on a 4 day a week job to pay the bills and am working out my own schedule to get the writing done alongside that.

I like the rules about using different devices and having a hard stop at 6pm. Have learned similar concepts from a couple of books I would recommend to anyone trying to balance a day job with a side hustle: Deep Work and Rework.
