Thanks for this, Tony. I didn't know Nicolas Cole or Shaunta Grimes before reading your article. Their work, alongside yours, is very inspiring for a new Medium writer like myself.

I think deep down we all know when we're just churning out BS for the sake of it, and when what we're putting out has true quality.

I like to conduct 'batch research' on certain themes and ideas that I'm interested in. Then I have a repository of facts to refer to and can free flow in my writing.

That's the theory, anyway :)
